Mutations
Pomu (Standard)
Standard pomus are always black with a white facial mask.
Adult PomuDetails:
- Standard Pomu have:
- A black, fluffy coat that fades to a lighter gray at the hands and feet.
- A stumpy feathered tail.
- Their face, hands, and toes are white.
- Facial markings, horns, and claws always match their elnin's colors.
- The "fur" on Pomu is actually a very soft feather coat.
- Any other color or color accent on the body qualifies as a mutation.
- The pomu of a kittom is much more round than the pomu of an adult!
- Hands are capable of any delicate tasks, while being strong enough for manual labor.
- More info about Pomu can be found under the lore page under "Familiars".
Pomu (Weapon Transformation Ability)
Pomus (Multiple)
Multiple pomu sometimes occur with this mutation!
2 Adult PomuDetails:
- So far Eyre residents have only seen other elnin with up to 2 pomus, which is fairly normal for multiple pomu occurrences.
- Note: Currently this mutation applies a maximum of 2 pomus. Other numbers of pomu may appear in the future but for now consider 2 the cap!
- If a masterlist entry lists both "Pomu (Oddly-colored Variant)" and "Pomus (Multiple) (2 Pomus)" this does not mean an elnin has 3 pomus. The (Oddly-colored Variant) entry just becomes a modifier that can be applied to the Pomus (Multiple) (2 Pomus) entry.
- Multiple Pomu have:
- A black, fluffy coat that fades to a lighter gray at the hands and feet.
- If the mutation Pomu (Oddly-colored Variant) is also present on an elnin's masterlist entry, each pomu's feathers can be the same solid color or each can be a different solid color. (ie. 2 solid pink pomu OR 1 solid pink pomu and 1 solid purple pomu.)
- A stumpy feathered tail.
- Their face, hands, and toes are white.
- Facial markings, horns, and claws always match their elnin's colors.
- Multiple pomus horns and claws match their elnins and are identical on both pomu. So if an elnin has dual-toned anima both pomus will have 2 color gradients to their claw tips.
- A black, fluffy coat that fades to a lighter gray at the hands and feet.
Bonded
"Bonded" means that your elnin is quite attached to you. The bonded status is currently only used to denote that with a little help this an elnin capable of undergoing great changes not typical for non-bonded elnin, but could evolve further uses as we are able to expand our ARPG.
Rank Unlock
A mark that your elnin has gained experiences to pursue a higher rank. Rank unlock requirements that are fulfilled will be listed for elnin that have completed them and submitted an appropriate claim.
Resonant
"Resonant" means that your elnin's mana flows smoothly and is in harmony with the greater flows of energy through Eyre. The resonant status is currently only used to reduce the rank cost of growths and/or rank upgrades, but could evolve further uses as we are able to expand our ARPG.
Lore wise, an at rest resonant elnin gives off a pleasant "thrumming" vibe when perceived by other mana-sensitive creatures. Nothing overt or distracting, more like a silent, subtle purring- the kind of thing that you tune out immediately, but gives you a sense of calm and relaxation on a subconscious level. The company of resonant elnins has also been proven to lower your blood pressure and reduce stress.
