A unique phenomena occurs only in a particularly reflective series of ice caverns in Strynhalde. Light showers that fall outside the caverns and through small cracks in areas above reflect against the smooth ice surfaces. Colorful lines of light may reflect a few times before they disperse. Depict your elnin witnessing this lucky sight, as all the right conditions have to align for it to occur.

Notes

The light showers display as streaks of color with small motes of light left where they land. The streak’s light and motes vary in color, but are generally bright and show up better when it's dark. A field of fireflies would be a good example of how the motes look, only on the ground or very close to it, and with more variation in color. They could be green, pink, purple, etc. but are generally hues closer to white.

Depict your elnin watching the streaks of light raining down and noticing that the ones that land on their shadow just seem to disappear into it, while any that don’t hit their shadow seem to settle on the ground for a moment before dissipating. Are they curious about what might be happening inside their shadow or are they disinterested?

Depict your elnin using art supplies to create a trail after their paws. These can be little bangles of string worn like bracelets, some paint coated on their beans, or a scattering of confetti or other materials being diligently dropped at their paws as they walk.

Depict your elnin scattering some small local critters like small birds, mice or butterflies that have gathered. These are either critters they collected manually and are… creatively releasing with a little chase, or ones that have come together naturally like a flock of birds feasting on seeds that might scatter at the sound of encroaching paws.. This is how phantom critters are attained, right?

Depict your elnin disrupting non-living elements with their paws. This could be splashing water from puddles, flicking sand or snow, or coating them in a muddy slurry that will surely leave a mark.

Depict your elnin leaving trails amongst Eyre’s plants and flora. This can be done in forest undergrowth, dropped leaves, tall grass, flower fields, mossy marsh paths, or some other location coated with plant life.

Details

Depict your elnin following an old elnin trail. Trails created by elnin are typically small secluded little paths infused with mana. They are generally easily discovered by other elnin due to their mana sensitive nature. On these trails, you’ll find small stones or the occasional worn wood sign with Old Eyreish or modern Eyreish on them with encouraging or helpful messages or markers.

Some nin have suspected after all the activities their paw toe beans have been put through, it's advised to let them rest... draw or write about your elnin wearing some footwear to protect their precious beans for a short break. Footwear can be fashionable shoes or boots, elaborate sandals, or just a cozy pair of slippers, whichever suits the nin's fancy.
