Details:

• Iris shape should be consistent across both eyes.
• Iris shapes should be relatively simple blocky shapes without any inner linework. (ie. Diamonds, squares, rectangles, simple flower, butterfly, etc.)
• The sclera must still be visible and hold about as much space as it would in a standard eye.
• What can affect the shaped iris?
  
  • YES: Some anima mutations can affect the iris around the pupils like Starlit anima, Emberglow anima, Heterochromia, Chimeric anima., Prismatic anima, Grafted anima, Kaleidoscopic Anima, Luminous anima, Dual-toned anima, Anima patterning, and Decora anima.
  • Heterochromia can allow for eyes to have different iris shapes. Keep in mind the iris color will still be affected by heterochromia too, with the right horn and eye being one color and the left horn and eye being a different color.
  • NO: Doe-eyes
• If any mutations are not listed here then we have no definitive answer for it. Please check with us first before going forward if the mutation is not on the list or you are unsure how something might work.

Additional Notes:

• Feel free to try out ideas you have for pupil shape, just keep in mind the space is small and the team will request a change if there's something that conflicts with mutation or group guidelines. That said, we're excited to see what peole come up with!
• This mutation is meant to provide a baseline visual for your elnin's iris shape in masterlist art. We might express a concerns if there's a lot of inconsistencies in prompts (like every other week the iris shape is different from the masterlist for an extended period of time), but overall this mutation isn't intended to limit the amount of expressions any elnin can show, regardless of if they have this mutation. So if you're an artist that tends to do emoji-like eyes (or wobbly eyes when elnin are crying) those types those stylizations are fine.
