Faerindell is known for their flowers and flowers are known for their healing properties. I figured a hospital surrounded by flowers and beautiful vistas would be the perfect place to find rest and respite when healing from illnesses and injuries.

     On the outskirts of Elenion, surrounded by the floral fields filled with poppies, clover, and other medicinal flowers, Florissé Center is one of the most well known places of healing in Faerindell and maybe even the whole of Eyre. While the healing center in Salva is the best for those with mysterious ailments, Florissé Center is for those who are past the point of danger and just need time to come back to full health. Many bright rooms with large open windows line the outside walls letting patients observe the bright, fragrant flowers and blooms that have been planted in gardens that surround the area. Walkways through the grounds wind through archways of cultivated fairy shrouds that fill the air with a riot of colour. Quite often the sylvan healers will encourage Elnin and sylvan alike to walk through the gardens at least once a day for good health. Even those who have trouble with mobility will be guided outside to sit within the floral gardens dotted with pink sakura trees.

     Along the edge of the grounds, an offshoot of the main river flows by; fed from the spring that flows close to the Eldertree near Elenion. Some say the waters have healing properties as the flowers and plants seem to grow even larger and more lush than the fields further away. Here, the sylvan grow a herb garden that is protected by willow and birch trees, both also used in healing remedies. Many of the sharp herbs are mixed with the more fragrant flowers for poltices, herbal teas, and other medicines. The poppy fields that take up another corner of the grounds are also useful for the healers, providing pain suppressants and teas that help calm fevered sleep. The last corner of Florissé Center is the apiary, where many hives of bees help keep the fairy shrouds and other fields of flowers pollinated and healthy. Sweet sakura honey is also carefully harvested for honey cakes and the like which is the best treatment for dusk fever and other ailments.
