PERSONALITY
Coal seems to be a carefree spirit fueled by Rum and Whisky. He is loud, crass, and definitely does not seem like a good role model to any Kittom. However, there are many different aspects to Coal that make him shine. He is a rather outgoing elnin, friendly to any stranger. He is also quite genuine, absolutely sincere with every word he speaks. Though he might seem self-centered at times, he is very caring, kind, and considerate, frequently putting others before himself. Interestingly enough, Coal is actually quite musically inclined and prone to breaking out in song. If there is a stray musical instrument in the area, he will usually give it a try, playing whatever song seems to come to mind at that moment. There are theories that Coal was raised as a Kittom with a Bard, but no proof of such a claim has come to light, aside from his occasional passion for song and music.

HISTORY
Not much is known about Coal's youth as a kittom, but there are rumors that he was raised by a Bard, namely due to Coal's proficiency and love of music. And as an adult, Coal will not confirm or deny such accusations, he will just continue to loudly play whatever instrument he has deemed interesting at that moment.
Coal is a Lava Chaser by profession, seeking only the hottest magma on this side of Eyre. It is not an easy job (he has to run SUPER FAST), but occasionally he gets lucky enough to claim some trophies for his collection (in all honesty, they are just considered samples, but he plays it up). Perhaps Coal is just a pyromaniac trying to justify his love of fire with his job. He is prone to wandering the Wastelands of Zevija as a result of his choice in work, but for some reason he frequently returns to Silveil. When he is not guzzling his choice of drink for the evening, he can frequently be seen dancing with his Fire Fans. He is not a master of this art, but all that matters to him that he has fun while performing.
RELATIONSHIPS
JUBILEE
It might seem like she is the complete opposite of Coal at times, but ultimately she is his soulmate. They met in the wastelands of Zevija while Jubilee was making a parcel delivery. After hanging out, camping, and talking together, they found that they were quite fond of each other. Though both of them travel quite a bit for their work, they have promised their partner that they belong to each other. They each wear a matching Emberite ring on their paw to show their commitment to the other.
