ELN110: Whimsy

HISTORY

Rhapsody the Kyunru actually found Whimsy as a young Kittom, wandering around in the hillsides of Faerindell. Or rather, Whimsy may have found Rhapsody, since Rhapsody's shiny necklace caught her attention. The Kyunru instantly fell in love with the little Elnin who seemed to have no parents or guardian and decided to adopt the Kittom as her own. The Elnin would grow quickly, and soon enough the pair were inseparable, Rhapsody with her beloved little helper, Whimsy!

The duo (or trio if you include Fancy, Whimsy's Pomu) now run a Day Care in the hillsides of Faerindell, watching over any little bundles of joy that are rolled in their direction.

RELATIONSHIPS

PASTEL and COOKIE

Whimsy's Eldest Daughter and her Son-in-Law (respectively) confuse the living daylights out of poor Whimsy. They were both raised in the Daycare and were essentially sweethearts when growing up. However, as adults they didn't just decide to be monogamous (unusual by Elnin standards), but they decided to get MARRIED as well. She loves and respects both, who have become successful and happy in opening their own their own little Cafe called Sugar Tail Cafe where they serve specialty sweets and drinks. That still doesn't make Whimsy any less confused about their dedication to each other.

JUBILEE

Another of Whimsy's daughters who also confuses the living daylights out of her. She seemed like a rather normal kittom upon birth, but then randomly sprouted some wings before growing up. Her daughter was always admirable for her hard work, creativity, and her general cheery disposition. Though Whimsy doesn't see as much of Jubilee these days due to her Courier work demanding much travel, at the end of the day, Jubilee always comes back home to Faerindell.

SPRIG

Whimsy's artistic inclined son who lives with her at the Daycare. It might be due to the fact he is a Nestling, but he is always by her side in a sense. Though he is a Mama's boy, he doesn't mind the implications of such a label. He is soft spoken, but he isn't shy, making friends as best he can with all the Kittoms. He was born in the Spring, and as a result of seeing many colorful eggs during those times, he has developed a sort of passion for painting eggs. His goals are to essentially become the Easter Bunny.

STRUDEL

One of Whimsy's Grandkittoms who took after his parents sweetest traits. He has an excellent sense of humor and loves to create the most decadent ice cream sundaes imaginable. These sundaes are stacked with many fresh baked goods from his parents, but also so many candies from a treasured friend, Ruelle. Whimsy is proud of this Grandkittom's accomplishments and is excited to see what he will do with his passion guiding him.

SERENA and FAYE

A mischievous set of Grandkittoms for Whimsy that are interested in making all of the noise they can! They would hop in and out of the Daycare, depending on their parents' schedules, but they made their presence known in Whimsy's life. It would seem both took more after their father, but Whimsy can see a bit of the mother in Serena as well. They both are aspiring to be musicians, Serena specializing in drums and Faye specializing in strings instruments. However, they will try any instrument they can get their paws on!

GUMMI

Born as a Kittom with eyes that could see more magic in the world than the typical Elnin, he had a tendency to stray from Whimsy's care during the day to visit a nearby Fairy Sanctuary. This Great-grandkittom may seem quite distanced from Whimsy, but does seem to have respect to his family. He is cheerful, but tender, able to find sympathy for others with ease. He found himself meaningful work by becoming a Shepherd for the Fairy Sanctuary, working with Lavender, who had been at the Daycare as a kittom as well.

TILLY and ORD

These two Great-grandkittoms that were born into the sweetest life, but could not be any different. Millefeuille, also known as Tilly, idolizes those who are able to make sweets or a loving home in general, while Oreo Raspberry Dream, also known as Ord, wants nothing to do with his sweet background. In all honesty, Ord has gone missing, but being the rough and tumble child he is, the family believes that he should be fine.
