"It was my fault."
Moon didn't want for any wishes, and stood frozen
before the faerie ring they accidentally crossed.

Leaving nothing would invite some terrible misfortune, as everyone knew.
So would leaving a thoughtless gift, they had been warned.
But Moon only had the charm their father gifted them.

Moon did not want to give up this gift,
as their little brother Atlas was quite fond of it too.

And so it was stained with fear, regret, and resentment,
cast into the snow with the wish to leave and find their family.

And so, the snow began to fall.
