Artisans of Il'durahn take immense care when harvesting these berries, which are coveted for their ability to stain even the sturdiest materials a shade of bright pink. Textiles, leather, even metal can be brightly marked! Because of the durability, it's popularly mixed with ink for use by academics of the capital.

Scholars are still debating whether the horrifically tart taste of the berries or its needle-like seeds are the original inspiration for its name.
