Aroundthe outskirts of one of Enmir's mired swamps, rumors of a shambling mass attract the attention of Gabriel. This cryptid is elusive, massive, and only appeared in the deepest pit of the nearby swamp.  Feeling brave, he ventures out into the swamp to confirm the existence of this creature; perhaps he could make it his familiar. 

After days of searching he finally caught a glimpse of the beast through the swamp gas... A truly large creature covered in spikes which seemed ot be swimming away from him. He approached the "creature" with renewed optimisim - his search was finally nearing its end! However he pauses as the horrific shape finally clears and reveals itself. 

In front of him lay a long dormant skeleton belonging to a creature  long since passed. Perhaps a long time ago this creature roamed the marsh and could have been tamed, but now its remains only serve as a vehicle to scare other kittoms. With the new knowledge about the alledged cryptid in mind, he returns to the nearest village to share news about his discovery.
