Soot lizards can be found abundantly in Zevija, though they're often hard to spot as their soot-coloured bodies helps them blend into their surroundings.
They enjoy snacking on lava rocks, which gives them the ability to ignite flames on themselves, though they only tend to do this with they're close to magma flow in order to not draw attention to themselves.
They're quite skittish, and will often scurry away at the sound of any encroaching paws.
