The water willow grows in the lake by Kyendi's eldertree, within the shade of the great weeping willow's branches.
They thrive off the mana from the eldertree, allowing them to grow vertically towards the sky, as if reaching for their land counterpart.
Even out of water, the leaves float and sway, and it's said that if one should lose their way, a water willow in hand will always guide them back towards the eldertree.
Unfortunately, they don't tend to live long outside of the lake by the eldertree, but if one is diligent in making sure they're planted in the soil found at the base of the tree as well as watering them with the lake water, it is said that they can last for several months, and even up to a year, and are often a great, soothing addition to any plant-lover's home.
