Phoenix thought he was lost. Not in the beautiful open field, but in the woods of Kyendi. He felt himself return to the same place twice and began to symbolize the tree scratching. and spaced before making the next scratch until he didn't quite understand why he had returned to the same place. Later, he began to place three small stones to indicate that he had indeed repeatedly passed this way in confusion.
