Dear Aunty Lupe,

I hope you've been well. Lately Rhea and I have been hanging around a home based in Kyendi while we wait for the storm to pass. Lately I've been trying to think about what kind of gift I could give to her or send to you and Lux. Perhaps a wooden charm or a woven talisman would be a good gift? I don't think there's a nin alive who couldn't use a good luck charm! Or how about some pottery? There are some masons in a nearby village in the forest who use magic to mold the clay and set the glaze for their pottery. I feel like that sort of gift would last you a life time!

As for me, a new bowl or pair of chopsticks would be a sure fire winner. My old pair of wooden sticks have started to splinter, maybe it's time that I invested in some carved stone ones! Or chopsticks made of metal that have the grooves in the ends!

I hope you, Lux and the rest of your family are cozy and safe from the Miasma this season. I'm hoping to track down one of Kyendi's famous temples to explore! I've tried looking in different parts of the forest but things seem to keep moving around.
