Though I never fancied myself a swimmer, the water always drew me in--The calming ripples, the unknown below, and everything in between. The times where I'm in Ealei are the best, because while the ocean is ever lapping at the shores of the places that I travel, in the silence of the mangroves stills the water into a quiet, crystal clear lull. I always sharpen my eyes to find them in particular; a small fish, round in shape with trailing translucent fins and puffy cheeks. It's with an abundance of mana their their cheeks glow, sprinkling starlight in the wake of their schools and spreading finitely glittering clouds across the water's underbelly, like a brush stroke of orange on a canvas of deepest blue.
