Almost an oasis in it’s own right, the bustling towns of the Ahza region are always brimming with new people and things to see. Carved into the cliff sides with sturdy yet elegant craftsmanship, these strongholds within the region give a sense of home to those who call the desert their own. Towering homes and temple-like structures surrounded by cliffs is a common sight, silken fabrics draping over windows and swaying softly while beads sparkle in doorways to allow the rare breeze to filter into homes. Tall trees with sturdy roots and trunks cozy into corners where they can to aid the Elinin who live within the cities with blissful shade to take much needed breaks from the sun blazing above.

Colorful tarps for the marketplace can be seen from far away, the sweet scents of imported food tempting to both travelers and natives to the sun kissed region. Trinkets from all regions can often be found here and caravans coming and going with new people and frequent returners that come yearly are always eager to sell. Though the area may always seem busy, one can go just a bit outside of the city walls to find vast dunes and oasis dotted around the area just beyond. Large bones glint in the sunlight, the large creatures who left them behind long gone but still these landmarks remain as a reminder. Sparkling waters that can be found are often populated by Elinin on their way into the cities but the break is often too tempting to pass up. 

 

With nothing but dunes and cliffs from there, the large towering form of the Elder Tree is hard to miss, it’s sheltering branches a warm hello. Roots tangling into the massive bones of creatures from before, it stands as proudly as the Elinin who call the region home.
