While Hikari enjoys travelling and visiting various regions, the place he’ll always call home is Kyendi. Nothing beats lounging underneath the eldertree in Eiloen, taking a quick nap beneath the gentle breeze of weeping willows while soaking up the sun to taking a dip of the nearby lake, or being atop the Sunshard Isles, running wild and carefree as can be. And despite his appearance, being a pursuer of knowledge, he finds himself quite fascinated in Ilrian’s study of anima shards and is curious as to how this rivals innate mana as sources of power. If not found in either of these places, he can be seen frequenting Sulapei, visiting local tea houses and wooing both locals and foreigners with his wit and charm, indulging in their freshly brewed tea and baked goods while there.

After the miasma season passes and it is deemed safe to travel freely once again, Hikari wishes for nothing more than to return to his birthplace, to reminisce in familiar sights and smells, to be surrounded by the wondrous flora and fauna that Kyendi has to offer. With the place bordering the edges of Palu’au, Silveil and Faerindell, he can get a taste of each while within the comforts of his own home.
