PERSONALITY
Hitsuzen is an enigmatic Elnin that many others find hard to read. He does an excellent job of hiding his emotions on the surface, coming across as aloof. However, for him, he sees it as putting on an air of mystery. He is prone to a sort of wanderlust, seemingly drifting into and out of a town upon what would seem like a whim. He is observant and seems to be able to read into another's character with ease. To Hitsuzen, his work with Tarot is his life's meaning. He considers it to be an art and treats each reading like its own masterpiece. He will only work with his own deck he has created himself, using various inspirations from individuals living in Eyre. Some might consider him arrogant or condescending, but the reality of it all is it is just his artistic bent flaring up most times. Hitsuzen also has been known to abuse the intimacy of a Tarot reading into some well executed flirting (though actual deep and meaningful relationships truly elude this soul).

HISTORY
Hitsuzen was born to a Gypsy Caravan with a blend of many different Eyre-kind. His brethren traveled their world, exploring each territory, and learning to love each region for what it had to offer the full expanse of Eyre. The Caravan frequently gained new family, and at times family members were inclined to go on their own journeys, keeping life interesting and ever changing.
A single human being joined the Caravan, and Hitsuzen (as the young and impressionable Kittom he was) was mesmerized by her. She may have had wild looks which would have landed her any man she desired, but her most attractive trait was her silver tongue. She had a way of talking which drew any Eyre-kind in to listen wholeheartedly. Even amidst large crowds, her voice was so whimsical that it could make an individual feel like she was just intimately talking to them. It was from this woman that Hitsuzen learned of the Tarot. She taught him the meanings of each card, and taught him how to perform the readings. However, the most important lesson he ever received from her was that anyone's first Tarot deck should never be purchased. It was only acceptable to create the deck oneself, or to receive the deck as a gift. It was shortly after he had gained a true grasp of the Art of Tarot that this woman vanished from the Caravan mysteriously, perhaps to find another to teach the ways of Tarot. It was only after she had left the Caravan that all had realized not even one person had learned her name.
Taking this woman's words to heart, Hitsuzen created his own deck of Tarot cards after he had grown. And with his own deck at paw, he decided it was finally his time to leave the Caravan. It is true that he never settled to live in one particular place and still holds the practice of exploring Eyre deep in his heart. However, with his cards to lead the way, he felt as if he had found his place in this world.
RELATIONSHIPS
Akane
This firecracker of an Elnin is one of Hitsuzen's good friends (with occasional benefits). Though Hitsuzen does rely on his Tarot quite a bit, his skills in the art of persuasion are lost on Akane. No matter how many times he offers her a Tarot reading, she declines. Not to mention how many times she has pranked him into thinking she had set any of his cards on fire. The pranks won't ever stop Hitsuzen from trying to convince Akane to let him do a Tarot reading, and Hitsuzen's persistence typically leads to the pranks, creating an endless cycle of pranks.
