ELN632: Hobbes

When Hobbes was a  kittom his best friend and self-appointed charge Veil disappeared suddenly. This initially did not raise any alarm bells for Hobbes since Veil had made a regular habit of absconding in order to get some alone time, however as the days passed with no sign of his friend Hobbes became more and more frantic, spending the majority of his time in a frenzied state searching for his companion.  Months passed like this. Then one day Hobbes found Veil. His fellow kittom was severely wounded, his tiny body covered in injuries and his previously silken white fur now matted and stained the rusty color of dried blood. In the months following Veil's physical recovery both kittoms observed a change in one another. Hobbes became intensely protective of Veil hardly letting the other out of his sight and developed the resolution to resort to violence in order to protect Veil from those that would display cruelty toward the fair elnin. Hobbes also began turning a blind eye to Veil's newly intensified fixation on harming other elnin. The two began to form a twisted, codependent bond that would last their whole lives and only get stronger as they grew. 

Misc. Facts: 

Hobbes is fairly self-sufficient. He feels he has to be, after all he has to be able to take care of himself if he hopes to take care of others. 

Hobbes is a ferocious cuddle-bug, he firmly believes in the benefits of physical affection. He's always good for a hug, a passing nuzzle or just a nice long snuggle.
