ELN263: Nixie

She runs a small apothecary, where she sells potions, teas, herbs and other concoctions to heal, or in some cases, wound the soul. She travels often to get the ingredients she needs and isn’t afraid to try something new. 

In her free time, she reads whatever she can get her paws on. She loves dabbling in alchemy, metals.

As a young Kittom, she was exceptionally shy. However, as she grew and found her true purpose, she became much more assertive. 

She was an only child and has no recollection of her parents. 

Though it is typically frowned upon, Nixie enjoys making poisons.

She enjoyed performing experiments with her friend and fellow scientist, Arcadian. One of those experiments lead to the birth of their first litter. 

Most of their kittoms left to travel the world, as is customary. However, the first kittom became very sick before adulthood. To save her, Nixie traveled deep into the mana to find the ingredients for a cure. The quest for her kittom’s health lead to her own mana sickness. She was successful in her endeavor, with her kittom making a complete recovery. 

The capricious shadow became a permanent mutation. She learned to accept that it had a mind of its own. It can be unpredictable at times, but for the most part remains obedient to Nixie. 

Nixie’s Pomu is typically the victim of the shadow’s pranks. 

The kittom that Nixie healed, stayed close to home and took the name Esserine, “essie” to her friends.
