Flowers are certainly no stranger to Faerindell. Depending on the city, it would be difficult to turn a direction and go without seeing the hanging faerie blooms above or more simple and single flowers on the ground. Stepping out of the cities and following down one of its many coddlestone roads, flowers can be seen growing in the grass. While one might expect to see a decrease in flowers when approaching more forested areas, that happens to not be the case.

There’s a particular flora that can be found even when there’s many trees in the area. Granted, the trees can’t be any tree - the tree needs to be the kind of tree that is only found in Faerindell. Instead of the common green leaves, the perfect spot for a particular flora is on the trunk and branches of trees that grow pink leaves.

Some call the flora a vine, while others call it a flower. Whichever Elnin that ended up naming the plant decided to go with both options, naming it the Rainbow Flower Vine. The vine that makes up the majority of the plant is dark green and smooth to the touch. Every so often a dark green leaf can be found on the vine. The texture of the leaf is also smooth, almost velvety.

The most eye-catching part of the Rainbow Flower Vine are the multicolored flowers that bloom from the vine. In the center of each flower is bright yellow, and the large petals of the flower come in five different colors in a specific order- Red, Green, Blue, Purple, and Pink.  The petals are surprisingly sturdy and do not risk falling from a  mindful touch or a gentle breeze. If tugged on though, the petal will easily become detached from the flower.

The Rainbow Flower Vine does not grow on every single pink tree in Faerindell. It’s estimated that a Rainbow flower Vine will grow around the trunk of one out of every fifty pink trees. It’s still uncertain if there’s a rhyme or reason some trees are deemed sturdy enough for a vine to grow on. Either way, it’s a lovely addition to any pink tree, and a lovely addition to Faerindell as a whole.
