For a city shrouded in the night, Silveil is more active than an outsider would assume. An air of excitement passes through it in tune with the exhale of spores from the glowing mushrooms that spring from every crack and crevice. If an elnin were to find themselves lost in the darkness, they might only need to use the fluorescent markers at trail intersections in the wooded areas. 

The creatures that roam Silveil are just as bright and vivacious as the flora; glowing, shining creatures that crawl and slog through the darkness feeding on things only they can see. Given how bright and loud the rest of the living things in Silveil are, It's a common misconception that Silveil doesn't have an Eldertree. Silveil’s entertree is hidden - but, just like it's residents, can be found when you look in the right place. 

Amidst a sea of stars swims the tree, bathed in an eternal glow of light. To peer into the depths of that watery sky is said to be almost spiritual in nature to some, and many take pilgrimages to do so. This beautiful Oasis is also measured in part by the amount of Undine elnin that can be seen bathing and frolicking there. Many fishy elnin find the starry submersion to feel as refreshing as though they were swimming through the heavens themselves.

Although many may find Silveil to be dark and dreary, to its most loved inhabitants it is a city of starry wonder.

 Despite being one of the smallest regions of Eyre, the cities within Silveil are some of the most hustling and bustling.  Every night and every day are considered one in the same, and so there is always time for a party. Even though many elnin find the lack of sun to be off-putting, the residents of Silveil have come to love the distinct luminosity their region possesses.
