It was a special time of year, something rarely seen, or even done for many Elnins, Cassian mused to himself. What was so special about this time of year, this year in general? Well, the elder spirit of Ealei was active. The massive spirit took on the depiction of a serpent, glorious and a beauty to behold. This year, there seemed to be a diminish in fish in the sea waters around Eyre, and the spectral beast seemed to be trying to help many Elnins bring the many fish that swam below Yggdrasil's manawell to different locations around Eyre.

Cassian was one such Elnin that was trying to bring the beautiful fish outside of the manawell in Ealei. There were many ways for one to bring the fish to the sea, some may bring them around in a bowl, others use paper boats or lanterns as a sort of guide for them to go, and lastly, there was the traditional method, bubbles. Yes, bubbles. There are special bubbles that the luminous fish could be put inside, designed the float above the water, drifting them off to where they needed to go. Cassian had decided to opt towards using a bowl, although the bubble method intrigued him.

It was quite a treck for Cassian and his pomu friend, as they had to make their way to Silveil, the destination he had decided on to release the luminous fish. What better place to place glowing fish than the perpetually night time region that was known for its many glowing flora.

The adventure was long, sometimes hard, but always fun. Cassian's pomu friend was always there to help him with directions, as he got lost quite easily. His pomu was always the compass they needed, chirping and pointing to which way they needed to go. He was very thankful to have his small poofball looking friend by his side.

As they eventually made it to Silveil, the glow of the fish in their bowl took on a whole new meaning. It was in stark contrast against the nighttime of Silveil, a beauty to behold, and as such, Cassian wanted to find a beautiful place to release it.

Walking around in Silveil was peacuful to both Cassian and his pomu, strolling around at a leasurely pace, taking in the beauty of the region. The sky was a deep blue, speckled with purples and pinks, a nebula and galaxies all around above him. Small pinpricks of light dappled the beautiful sky, with small sparkles of meteors flying by, looking like stars with a tail in the night sky.

Surrounding Cassian were large, overbearing trees, covered in deep green mosses, pulsing with a dull glow. Covering the grounds around the trees were small glowing mushrooms of many different colors; greens, blues, purples, pinks and more. And standing high on their own, hanging over the grassy floor, were giant mushrooms, glowing with an intensity all on their own. These giants always interested Cassian. How did the mushrooms become so big? Were they a species of mushrooms all on their own? Were they edible? Poisonous? It wasn't time for him to mull over these questions, he had a fish he needed to release into the water.

Taking careful stepps through the forest with the bowl strapped tightly to his side, and his pomu friend sat atop his head, they made their way through the glowing flora until they came to the edge of the forest, and laid out before them was the perfect place to release the luminous fish.

A lake that most likely was an offset from the lake that housed Silveil's eldertree, stretched out before Cassian and his pomu. The water ebbed gently, tickling his ears with its sounds. Across the water's top, there was a faint glow, showing the brimming bioluminescent life that lived in and around the water, a perfect home for their glowing fish friend. Cassian slowly retrieved the bowl from his side, and leaned down towards the water. He gently placed the bowl into the water, and tiped it slowly, allowing his glowing friend to swim out into the water unharmed.

He had done the task he had set out to do, and watched his fish friend swim away, becoming one with its new home. Turning to his pomu friend he smiled, "A task well done my little friend" he said while gently patting it on the head.
