Hamura! The hamster of sakura! These small, furry creatures live in sakura trees and feed on their petals and the dewdrops that settle on them. Their ears are shaped like the petals, giving them some camouflage. Their fur is pure white. They are only seen when the cherry trees bloom. Some say that they must be related to the pomu, because old elnin usually tell the youngsters the hamura maybe hide in the shadows of the cherry trees, where the fallen petals serve as food throughout the rest of the year.
