There were some small decorative stars that his parent Solar Flare had for shows that the little kittom had decided to borrow without asking. He had collected them all into a little wicker basket that he hid behind a curtain as carefully as he could.

Why would he do that? Well, you see, Caelum had a brother he was very close with. Usually Helix was taking care of him but today Caelum decided to be the one running the show. He took his chance when his brother left to do an errand and then the kittom zoomed out behind him.

After a moment he zoomed back, grabbed his basket and then left again. Oops!

He tried to be careful, sneaking around as to not alert him. As he reached the end of the building, he released a sigh. He was very pleased with himself as he held on tightly to his basket. There the kittom stood proudly in the street, rocking side to side as he looked up to the sky. The sky was dark was usual but the stars seemed to shine extra bright as if agreeing with his plan.

Caelum was excited! His brother Helix was out of the house and that meant one thing: surprise time! He had gathered all of these little stars and he had a plan! He was going to hide them around the city for his brother to find!

He started with an easy one! He put it in the planter by the doo, grinning to himself as the hustle and bustle of the city moved behind him. Elnin observed him as they walked, smiling as he fiddled with it in a way that he thought was making it more hidden but was actually making it more visible.

As he finished, he began to walk down the street. Where else could he hide them? It was an absolutely beautiful day, the stars shining brightly and not a cloud in the sky. The galaxy that scarred against the sky shone vibrantly and the market he approached was getting increasingly loud. The shore market might not be the best place to hide one but the beach was definitely a great place! He scurried down the stars down to the lake but he paused as he took a moment to admire it. Although he had been born here and always recognized the tree behind the lake, watching all the jellyfish shine like stars always made him smile.

He truly felt like home here, and he was going to make sure he shared those feelings with his brother!

Finding a little spot beside the stairs, Caelum fiddled with hiding the star again. At first he buried it in the sand but then when he almost lost it entirely he decided to simply put it under one of the steps of the stairs. Hidden from above but easy to spot from the beach! Perfect!

After that, he circled around to the mushroom trail which went through one of the city parks. It was a nice little path with luminous mushrooms along the path. It would be the perfect place for the last few stars. He would make it so they joined the pathing, creating a little border along it. They would be hidden by the mushrooms, mostly, right?

Pleased with himself, Caelum decided to go back home and wait for his brother. Straight home though? No, Caelum stopped for a jelly bun. They were so good! Eventually, he got home. However, instead of waiting for his brother to come home, he found Helix waiting there for him. In his paw was a little decorative star. In his other paw was a bag full of all of them.

"You counted them first, right?" Helix asked, shaking the bag with a laugh.

There was a pause before he completely ignored the question, "HOW DID YOU FIND THEM? I didn't tell you!"

For a moment there was a pause, hesitation, and then Helix replied, "Magic, of course."

He didn't want to tell him that he'd been standing beside him the whole time.
