A large portion of Enmir was covered in dark forests where the earthy ground could go over into wet swamp at any moment. If it was dark and you didn't pay enough attention it could be a big mistake to think you were still stepping on grass when you in reality stumbled upon a marsh with tons of moss. These swamps were home to a lot of fireflies but those weren't the only animals to be found in the murky waters. Due to the fireflies there were also a lot of frogs to be found in Enmir. These frogs blended perfectly into the landscape with their dark green skin, waiting patiently to fireflies to come near them. Some of these frogs were found in other regions as well, there was one distinct future though that only a handful of frogs in Enmir seemed to have. There were some frogs that had bright yellow eyes, looking almost glowing in the otherwise dark background that the frogs liked to blend in. These bright eyes were there to attract nearby fireflies and confuse them into thinking they would meet another kindred instead of a predator waiting to eat them. It wasn't quite clear how these frogs got to evolve. Did their body change to better fit into the environment so they had a greater chance at survival? Or was it something that had to do with Enmir itself, eating so many of the fireflies that they digested enough of their glowing properties and made some of these their own? Either way, it had become kind of a game for the Kittoms to catch a frog with yellow eyes to brag about their big catch. The eyes might be an advantage for attracting fireflies but hey also attracted the attention of curious Kittoms now that the frogs couldn't blend in as well anymore.
