With the near year came new toys! For the holidays Posie got a lot of new crafting tools and clothing. She got a small knife for carving, clay and crayons, and even a new set of paints! How amazing! Clothing wise, she got a new dress, tons of bows, a sun hat, and even a new towel! It was the best gifts ever! Thus, when she finally recovered from all the excitement, she went straight to the rocky beaches of Ealei and began hunting. Equipped with her towel, sun hat, a new bow, and her crafting tools, Posie went to work. She went to the rocky beaches first. She was seeking vines, leaves, bark, and rocks. Maybe even shells if she was lucky! At the beach Posie spent time trying to find the perfect rocks She was making herself a doll, oe that would live forever! Thus, she first needed a rock for her face. It had to be smooth, glossy, and the right size. It had to be oval. Initially she found a lot of good candidates. However, when she tried to draw faces on them using her crayons, it was fruitless. Every time she got a face on, it would smear! How horrible!

"These stupid crayons! They're not holding. That stinks! I need something that sticks!" She rummaged through her bag and found her new paint set. She knew opening them would probably cause more problems later on but that was a LATER ON issue. After she tossed the rocks back in, she laid out her paint set and got it ready for use. On the mat it came with, she laid all the colors down in rainbow order. Then she went and got sea water in her little cup so she could clean her brushes. Afterwards, she laid her brushes out, making sure she didnt damage the bristles. "Perfect! now I have room for my materials! She had much space in her bag now! The kit headed back to the beach when she found the PERFECT rock. It was the right size, shape, and even color! She threw it into her bag and continued on. "Now I need driftwood, vines, and leaves! OH and shells if I get lucky enough!" Posie was so excited to be able to put all her gifts into use.

She thought finding the materials would be easy. However, a large storm earlier in the week must have pushed all the wood out. She walked the whole beach and couldn't find a single piece. Thus, she had to abandon her original plan and headed to the mangrove forrest. She knew she would surely find something there. The kit scrambled up the bank and headed into the forest. Within the first minute of looking, she had a large piece of wood. It was too large for what she needed but knew with her knife she could sculpt it into what she desired. Besides, she wasted so much time looking already. She didn't want to look anymore for wood. Now, she had to find vine to secure the pieces together! She went deeper but could not find any. Why would she? The harsh conditions on that island made it inhabitable for most life. "I'll never find anything! Waa!" She complained. "It would have been easier to buy a doll!"

After an hour Posie decided to head back. She picked up a few leaves for hair and decided that on her way back, she would figure out a new way to construct her dolll. Even if it meant she was only painting a rock. Luckily, on her way back she hit the JACKPOT. A tree bridge had collapsed in the storm, leaving a lot of abandoned twine and rope! It was perfect for her doll. "Gosh! I got so lucky!!!" She cheered. Using her crafting knife, she cut down 4 2ft pieces. It was all she could need. With a newfound skip in her step, she headed back to her crafting area.

Once there, she realized that she was not alone. In fact, there were little crab footprints on her mat! The poor crab walked through wet paint. After placing all her materials down, she sought out the little animal and found him cowering under a rock. Using her kitty paws, she gently cleaned him off. Just her luck, once she was done the crab gave her a gift! His old shell! It was perfect for her doll. "Wow! Thank you!" she put him down and darted back to her mat.

Once she laid out all her materials, she went to work. She first painted a face on her doll. It had bright blue eyes, a pink nose, and blue horns. She wanted her to match the sea! Once she was trying, Posie began to carve the wood. It was a elnin, just like her! She was not super experienced with carving wood so she was grateful she had a lot to work with. After two fails, she was able to make one body good enough. The legs were small, the body the right size. With the rope, she weathered the now dry head onto the kit. She was great at knotting! Once secure, she painted the whole body a grey and blue. The doll was turning out great! Then, with the leaves, she made a small tail and painted it pink, grey, and blue. She was so excited and proud of herself. Finally, Posie put the beautiful shell on the center of the doll's head. Once done, she stepped back before bringing dolly in for a hug. It was a herald. Her protector.
