In the volcanic realm of Zevija, Naida, hailing from the Palu'au Islands, and Dismal, from the Enmir Swamplands, found themselves embarking on their first journey into the heated region. Drawn by the allure of Zevija's mana flow, they decided to celebrate the special season with a gift exchange that would reflect their distinct backgrounds.

Naida, with her affinity for water bases, had a keen eye for finding vibrant treasures hidden beneath the water's surface. Walking into the hot pools that dotted the volcanic landscape, she carefully collected shimmering volcanic stones, each one aglow with the fiery hues of Zevija's inner earth.

"Marinus, these stones are exquisite! They'll make a perfect gift don’t you think?" Naida asked her curious pomu.

Marinus chirped happily in delight, responding to her as Naida examined the glowing stones.

Inspired by the bright colors of the Eldertree's ember leaves, Naida crafted a stunning necklace, intertwining the volcanic stones with some delicate coral that she brought from her home islands. The necklace radiated the energy of both the fiery Zevija landscape and the tranquil depths of Palu'au's crisp azure waters.

But Marinus, with a mischievous glint in its tiny eyes, had more plans in store. While Naida was focused on the necklace, Marinus darted around the volcanic springs, collecting other trinkets and tiny treasures that caught its attention. Small volcanic pebbles, iridescent crystals, and even a few uniquely shaped leaves that lingered on the ground from Zevija’s Eldertree—all found their way into Marinus's petite haul.

Scrounging around, Marinus arranged the collected trinkets in a carefully crafted nest made from fallen volcanic ash. Running around, he eventually met with Dismal’s pomu named Woe, who received a personalized assortment of these tiny treasures. Marinus wanted to make sure that his fellow Pomu was not left out during this special gift exchange.

Amidst the delightful chaos, Woe, in his excitement, had forgotten about preparing a gift. It wasn't until the very moment of the exchange that realization struck. Panic flickered in Woe's glowing eyes as he hurriedly scrounged up a makeshift gift from his own tiny stash—a peculiar swamp flower from the Enmir Swamplands. He hoped that this last minute present did not insult his fellow pomu companion. With an apologetic glance, Woe presented the makeshift gift to Marinus, who accepted it with a gentle chirp of appreciation.

As for Dismal, he found inspiration in the glowing crystals scattered around the volcanic region. Delicately collecting these glistening gems, he sought to create something that would bring a touch of Enmir's mysterious charm to Naida. Dismal fashioned a pair of intricately designed earrings, each crystal capturing the essence of Enmir's earthy spirit. The earrings dimmed with a dull glow when reflecting off the sunlight.

Now, the Kittoms faced the task of wrapping their gifts. Naida, skilled in the art of crafting, fashioned delicate seaweed ribbons and adorned the necklace with tiny shells from Palu'au's beaches.

"Marinus, what do you think of seaweed ribbons? They'll complement the necklace perfectly. It’ll be a perfect little bundle just for him."

As a finishing touch he wrapped an extra swamp flower he had in the packaging, securing it with a slender reed.

As the Kittoms exchanged their beautifully wrapped gifts, they were bathed in the warm glow of the volcanic regions flames. The eldertree’s bright red colored leaves giving a nice backdrop to the scene. The Pomus, each with their unique treasures, chattered excitedly, creating a symphony of tiny chirps that echoed the joy they excluded.
