The region of Palu’au is one of the most popular vacation spots for Elnin living elsewhere. Not just for the hospitable and giving nature of those living there, but also because of its warm, sunny weather all year long. Palm trees filled with fruit blossom all year, providing an unending supply of fresh nutrients for its inhabitants. The clear weather is reflected by the clear, salty waters, which lap against pearly white beaches. The sand is fine and and perfect for building sand castles in with just a little bit of added water.

Palm trees line the shores to give shade for those resting on the beaches, either taking a break from their work, or taking a siesta during a vacation. The massive Eldertree that watches over the sunny escape is a huge Palm Tree, which provides nutrients and a home for many of the flora and fauna that live in the area.

The various abodes that adorn the islands that make up Palu’au are tropical in nature yet sturdy enough to withstand the weather. Leafy fronds make up thatched roofs and driftwood form heavy walls that keep the elements out. These beach front houses are open and airy, and are perfect for both those looking to permanently move in, or those just looking for a weekend getaway.

As a tropical area, the flora and fauna are vividly colored and contain temperaments of all types. Many critters have learned to not be afraid of Elnin tourists, but generally it’s advised to not feed the wildlife.

Vegetation that grows on the beaches include a lot of dry brush and drab shrubbery, but many hidden alcoves around the islands host much more vibrant displays of color and personality. The birds of paradise that wander around the islands are especially a sight to see.
