The limitless spires were incredibly beautiful to the young kittom patterned in white roses. This mining district was a destination she had longed to visit for quite some time now. Her attention flitted from the neon signs posted out front of various stores with differing merchandise to the natural crystalline structures embedded between each shop, like lovely little layers. It was certainly livelier than that of the metal towns , whose general atmosphere aside from the thick smog that hung in the air was rather bleak. A single paw bean tapped at the tip of a vibrant purple crystal that bloomed at the forefront of the market, sucking in air when it was a bit pointier than expected. Backing away slowly, Fuu narrows her eyes to look for a street sign in order to figure out her next course of action. The bulbous streetlights shed light on what pathways to take in order to reach the other cities within Zevija -- but she really only needed to seek out hand-carved gemstones as a gift to her beloved.

There's been word on the street that some places offered expeditions to retrieve and carve their own mined minerals, a rather deep and expansive tunnel glimmering with the raw beauty of crystalization... But it personally wasn't for her, Fuu does not possess the patience to fish out different crystals when there were some already marketed on display for a much cheaper price. It's not like the young girl was a coin-pincher, but likely that the rise in price was for the experience itself, something that she could go without. The kittom's eyes flutter shut, the neon pinks and purples obscure her vision even with both lids closed. Naturally beautiful, that was the highlight of the mining cities...

Pushing her way past the reinforced glass doors, the soft glow of natural lighting was easier on her eyes, a simple exhale while she is presented a line-up of heart shaped gemstones polished to perfection, she's sure that the shopkeep was passionate about their line of work. Chewing on the inside of her cheek, Fuu singles out a lightning ridge black opal amongst all the others, utterly taken aback by the striking blues against the deep blacks -- absolutely beautiful and reminding her of the lightning that flashed across the night sky. It is dropped into a velvet pouch and she dishes out some coins for her purchase before clutching onto the gift and sitting on the stone floors. The hustle and bustle of the town life nearly put the young girl to rest, fighting back sleep as travellers walked in groups or made quicker movements by taking the recently established trolleys that would cut the time of travel in half. Fuu figures she should get back to the inn soon with her companions, but opts to take the long-winded route in order to appreciate the natural occuring beauty in a place like Zevija.
