Dax was visiting the spooky region of Enmir, a place he was familiar enough with already having come here twice before. It was the perfect place to celebrate the Feyhallow season if you asked him. He loved the dark atmosphere that the dark forests gave the swamp as the shadows twisted around the trees. The waters lay still as the roots and vines twist and tangle around the darkened swamp, the fireflies coming out periodically to celebrate. Dax walked along the water's edge, dragging along his little sac of decorations.

He searched for a place to decorate for the season, a place that he could enjoy. A place he could perhaps invite his beloved Pax along to for a spooky evening together. It was hard to find the right place as he searched through the dark forest, checking between the twisted trees and under the hanging moss and vines. It was absolutely overgrown but not in the right way he wanted. He needed a big enough clearing, perhaps something along the water so he could enjoy the populace of fireflies gather together. It was a common occurrence in Enmir but it still felt special to Dax.

It took him a good amount of time to find the perfect spot but after travelling for a bit he found a cute spot by some water that had a nice dock in good condition still. A fishing dock, Dax surmised. He looked at his fishing rod briefly but then decided he didn't want that frustrations today. He wasn't very good at fishing yet and he had to decorate before inviting Pax along!

He brought out some of the squashes he had in his bag and began to line the dock with them. After he was done with that, he looked upon his scene and considered what to do next. He looked at his fishing rod and decided he had done a good job and decided a break. He sat down to fish for a bit, trying to catch even one thing. Some time passed before he decided to call it quits, stomping his little peets as he dragged the fishing pole along the dock and then pushed it against the tree with frustration. WHEN WOULD HE CATCH SOMETHING? He sighed.

Looking around, there were just little squashes lining the dock and not much else decorating his little area. What else could he do? He had a few things in the bag but that wasn't enough to satisfy him. He looked up to the tree and decided it needed more spookiness from the swamp itself to make it more swampy. That's right, swampy! He climbed the nearby trees and gathered up the loose vines until he was able to pull them down with him. Many of them hung down and he began to pull them over and tie them to the dock's base so that they made sort of a canopy.

From there he took out his sack again and pulled out the little paper cut outs of bats he had brought with him and began attaching them to the vines as they made their way up. Finally, he pulled out a nice rug and blanket. He put the rug over the wood floor of the docks and then he draped the blanket around so that it looked more cozy.

A lovely spooky setting for a lovely spooky date! All he had to do now was get Pax! He wasn't that far from town, grinning to himself as he looked across the water to see the huts and lights from the town where Pax was waiting.
