Underwater stones that grow moss under the mangrove roots. This species of underwater moss grows very fast under the sun, so when it runs out of room on a rock, may have bits and specks peel off the stone. It floats through the waves before settling down on other sunny rocks it finds.

Despite it's fast growing nature, its a favorite snack of fish, crustaceans, and water insects that live nearby these rocks. The small floating pieces are a perfect snack.
