Mary had been wandering for quite some time now. He left the sandy shores of Silveil behind, as he ventured deeper into the forest. The darkness was softened by the moonlight filtering through the trees above and the forest floor was covered with a soft layer of emerald moss. With each step he took, his paws left glowing marks in the moss, which quickly faded - the bioluminescent plant life in Silveil was famous and Mary had fun exploring it all. With no one around to judge him, he playfully jumped around like a kittom, leaving the whole floor glowing underneath his paws. Wisps of light emerged and swirled around him, before they faded away and the Elnin calmed down again. 

Moonlight followed him as he made his way further through the forest. Various hues of blue, purple, silver and pink shimmered through the trees and a gentle stream meandered through the woods, its waters reflecting the moons glow like a liquid mirror. Frogs and crickets serenaded the eternal night with their melodious songs, blending seamlessly with the symphony of the forest.

With a swish of his tail, Mary emerged from the luminous forest, stepping onto a moonlit clearing. It was then that he spotted something truly extraordinary: the serene Starlake near Silveil City that seemed to be studded with glowing stars. His normal demeanor of annoyance momentarily gave way to astonishment as he approached the water's edge. Even though he was still far away from the city, he could spot the outskirts of the giant Eldertree that was submerged under the dark waters. He knew the ‘stars’ in the water weren’t actually stars but tiny, glowing jellyfish. If he looked closely, he could see them dart around in the water, leaving faint trails of lights behind them like little meteors.

As Mary surveyed the sparkling lake, his keen eyes detected movement nearby. He let out a low, grumbling sigh as he spotted a tiny kittom with midnight fur, illuminated by the soft blue radiance of the surroundings. This little one was named Gloom - and Mary narrowed his pink eyes. If Gloom was collecting glowing mushrooms here, Shimmer was probably nearby as well. He wasn’t in the mood to be social - and with a last glance towards the twinkling city lights and the starry reflections in the lake, Mary vanished into the darkness of the forest again.
