Unique flora: Driftal; shaped like coral pieces, these plants grow in the sandy beaches on Palu'au Islands. They look a lot like coral and driftwood, but are neither. Instead, they are a type of "air plant". They usually have a pretty wide base buried in the sand, while the "stumps"/arms stick out of the sand. They are painful to step on, but can be quite pretty, and some elnin use them to make sand/beach themed jewelry. Some artisans use them in place of driftwood in their art pieces.
