Estelle came across a very interesting species of succulent plant during her trip in Ahza. She had traveled a lot and had spent some time analyzing some species of plants with a botanist she had apprenticeship with. Interestingly enough they had never encountered this species either. Unlike the traditional echeveria that had some green squishy leaves, this one had bright coloured yellow leaves with blue tips. It only seemed to be found around the oasis as well. Interestingly enough normally these types of succulents seem to thrive in the desert sands but this one particular species seemed to do better around water. It was found sprang all around this small oasis that they had found. Estelle and her mentor had spent some time observing the succulent and it was a good thing they had brought plenty of food. One thing that was good is whenever the sun got too hot for them they would be able to soak in the water. Day and night the plant didn’t seem to change colour and kept its vibrant yellow tone with its blue tips. Even on the one day where it rained a lot the plant stayed the same. It was such an interesting species that the Botanist decided to unearth one and bring it home to do more observations on. They wondered if maybe the sand or something in the water around the oasis was maybe affecting its tint. It was so fascinating that the Botanist thought maybe he found a new species. What was really puzzling is that the normal green echeveria were also found in the same area but nothing seemed to change their coloring. Estelle wondered if she would ever lay eyes on something this unique again in her life. Having spent days observing it in the hot desert sun of Ahza she wondered if there were more of these interesting species of plant to be found around Eyre. But who knew maybe this was just one anomaly of nature.
