Nico was sitting under a golden birch tree in the garden of the Inn in Il'durahn, and his big book about plants was open in front of him. His pomu has been so kind to get it for him and now he was reading up on the plant life in the new region they stayed in. One plant in particular caught his interest. 

"In the midst of the autumn forest of Bellmori, hidden among the vivid foliage, thrives a remarkable plant known as "Glimmerleaf." The Glimmerleaf is a captivating botanical wonder that stands out with its unique appearance and almost magical properties.
It is a small, compact shrub that stands about two feet tall, its graceful form resembling a miniature tree. The slender stems rise elegantly from the ground, branching out into a symphony of delicate foliage. The stems themselves are a deep, rich shade of brown, providing a stark contrast to the kaleidoscope of colors that adorn the plant.

What truly captivates the beholder are the leaves of the Glimmerleaf. Each leaf is a masterpiece of nature's artistry, measuring no more than an inch in length and half an inch in width. The surface of the leaves feels velvety to the touch, a softness that beckons admirers to run their paws gently across the delicate foliage.

The leaves are the most striking feature, as they shimmer and change color like the autumn leaves around them. However, unlike the regular foliage, Glimmerleaf's leaves exhibit a mesmerizing play of iridescent hues. When touched or exposed to sunlight, they shift through a spectrum of colors, reflecting shades of gold, copper, and deep crimson with soft hints of purple. The effect is spellbinding, and the plant seems to glow with an inner light, creating an almost ethereal ambiance in the forest.
Oftentimes locals harvest these leaves to use as decoration, for creating colorful powders, and sometimes even as filling for pillows. When collecting leaves, the locals take only a few leaves from each Glimmerleaf plant, avoiding complete removal of the foliage. This selective approach helps the plant maintain its ability to photosynthesize and replenish its energy reserves. After harvest, the local elnin carefully dry the leaves in a natural, non-intrusive manner, such as air-drying them in shaded areas or using gentle, low-heat methods.

To survive and thrive, Glimmerleaf requires a delicate balance of sunlight and shade. It prefers to grow in the understory of the forest, where dappled sunlight filters through the canopy. The plant is adaptable and can tolerate various soil types, but it flourishes in slightly acidic, well-draining soil enriched with the decaying leaves of its fellow autumn companions.
As a whole, the Glimmerleaf exudes an aura of magic and mystery, drawing both elnins and other creatures alike to its captivating presence. Its breathtaking colors make it a living work of art in the autumn forest - a cherished and treasured gem in nature's dazzling collection." 

Nicos tail swayed softly from left to right as he kept reading about this plant. He wondered if the Inn used Glimmerleaf in their pillows. This would explain the gentle fragrance emitting from it and he decided he would check later to see if his suspicion was true.
