If there was one thing that Ramona wanted to be known for, it was of her great pride in hunting. Not just any creatures gallivanting across the lush forest floor where the swampy terrain met the edge of the mystical forest. Dangerous creatures that could bring potential harm to the denizens of this remote location in Enmir piqued her interest. She needed to brandish her skills in preparing decoys, as she was already well-equipped for actual physical prowess. Groaning in dismay at her primary source material, Ramona plants herself into the exposed loamy soil of the planet and begins to work at it with clawed digits. It was too soft in her hands, akin to putty, but steadily did she work at a thick base that was rather similar to her own nimble body type. Hour after hour, she toiled tirelessly, crafting a life-sized sculpture of herself. The likeness was uncanny, capturing every detail of her fluffy fur and bright curious eyes. The kittom even slathered bioluminescent algae across the pebbles that represented her horns and eyes to make it seem more lifelike during the dark nights.
As Ramona put the finishing touches on her decoy, she couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. Her creation looked so real that even she found it hard to distinguish from her own reflection -- but to be a bit more realistic... Perhaps it was the swampy water clouding her perception. Again her claws make quick work of the soil a foot or so away from her sculpture, digging a deep hole to capture a large creature that dominates the max height of twelve feet. Slinking behind a tree at the sound of rustling leaves, Ramona's straight lips tug into the slightest of smiles. Here she was, ready to pounce and collect the disarmed creature that let out a sharp wail. Making the journey towards her decoy, the fledgling fighter knocks her hip into the base and it topples over into a melted mush. Blue hues narrow to try and help her recognize exactly what she was staring at, except it stared back at her. Feeling unease nip at the back of her neck, Ramona's petite feet remained planted in the watery dirt and she chews the inner corner of her lip to prevent a loud honking laughter to echo out and attract any unwanted attention. Here, in all its seething glory, was her cousin Citron... Who was something like a beast. Crouching down to extend aid to the citrusesque individual, she hoists him up while he manages to get better footing on the inner part of the ditch. Grumbling under his breath, the male groans, "You know, I was over here trying to look for you... To tell you that I managed to snag some good food on our travels back home but I guess you've found other ways to keep yourself busy -- other means of getting food, huh?" To some the tone may have sounded accusatory, and it was... But that doesn't mean Ramona couldn't find some sort of enjoyment or two! Bumping the side of her body as she walks in tandem with the recovering boy, the coral-patterned fur of hers made her stand out like a flower in this deep dark swamp. She hums, thoughtfully, "Want to know how I made that dummy look so good, dummy?"
He purses his lips into a tight line, biting back a responsive insult to the lighthearted one she tossed his way. Oh whatever, might as well learn to tell a fake from the real deal. "Sure, fine. Just don't take up too much time." And just like that, Ramona's paws scuff at the dirt beneath her until it's pulled into a thick bodied base once more. "Go see if you can find some pebbles around here, or some bioluminescent moss. We need attributes that are gonna stick out here!"
