It was, without a doubt, the Stormlands of Ahza that truly called to him. The rain that never seemed to stop (the times when it did appearing to be just vague recollections, or perhaps day dreams to Donnovan), that made him feel at home. A friend had asked him why, when he'd first returned home back to Kyendi, and the black kittom had not managed to give said friend a real response as to the origin of his feelings. He still couldn't quite place a paw on the real reason either; perhaps it was the music he could faintly hear in the falling rain, that reminded him of spending time indoors, with a nice cup of warm tea and a book. Or perhaps it was the peace and quiet that he often obtained in the study with his mentor.

Where others saw a chaotic mess, Donnavan saw home in the stormlands of Ahza, and he was quite certain that if given half a chance, he would find himself there more often than not. Perhaps even live there, eventually, once he grew and became fully independent.

The pitter patter of the rain was not only relaxing but also oddly comforting on the fur, and even his pomu seemed to enjoy sitting out in what others claimed was foul weather.

While yes, the winds could indeed pick up and turn the soft rain harsher... and the thunder did clap, Donnavan wouldn't call the rain foul in any way. He much enjoyed it after a nice stroll through the sands in the other part of the region, where treasure was found if you dug with insistence. The dichotomy of the region was very appealing to him, and he'd never understand just why or how the rest of his friends couldn't see it like he did.
