The snow crackled beneath her paws as she traveled into the coldest region on Eyre. Breath like a ghost in her wake. It had been quite some time since she had visited the area, but she felt it was time to once more enjoy the friendly atmosphere around the hot springs. They were the perfect temperature! Trinity had been so disappointed to learn the pools in Zevija were much too hot and definitely too pungent.

So, she decided to take her break in the snowy hills of Strynhalde, always welcomed by the smell of warm bread and soup. The warmth of the people too melted the cold that bit at her cheeks.

Once she was settled into her room at the local inn in a small town, Trinity felt like she wanted to immediately head to the hot springs. That's what she came here for after all! But she wasn't sure if she wanted to eat first before or perhaps wait until after her soak. It was such a hard decision considering the warm water made her sleepy and it would amplify her exhaustion from travel. It was decided then!

She'd grab a small meal downstairs at the inn. It was of course a bowl of potato stew and bread, smiling the way through her chewing.

Once she was finished, Trinity would thank the innkeeper before heading off to the bathhouses across the way. She could see the curtain of steam rising above as she approached, her excitement rising as she entered. There wasn't anyone in there that she could see, and that was fine with her. She liked the isolation, especially when it came to a good soak. She could relax and not have to worry about the conversation.

She would leave her clothing in the small room, keeping them folded and neat in a corner just in case anyone did decide to join her. A towel was draped around her torso to cover herself and brace her against the cold. Trinity would then step down across the rock slab path into the warm water. She'd take her time settling right down into the heat, sighing as she did.

"Oh yeah, this is the life," she mumbled, head leaning back against the edge of the pool. Her pomu would pop out as well, floating along the surface, enjoying their time in the warm comfort of the springs. Eventually, they would bump into a small rock toward the middle, a little natural formation that people tended to set things on. They climbed up and enjoyed the steam wafting up from the water. They were just as tired as their counterpart from the travel.

"Feels nice, doesn't it?" she asks, her pomu chirping in agreement. Trinity would chuckle before settling back down into her blissful peace. She would stay there for quite some time until she felt it necessary to finally jump out before she fell asleep completely. That would be quite embarrassing! She wasn't looking forward to the bitter cold that the water would bring.

Taking a breath in, Trinity would jump up and quickly make her way back to the bathhouse. She would dispose of her towel to the side where the rest of them were and quickly get dried off to put her clothes back on. It would take her tail a bit longer to dry off, but she would worry about that back in her room at the inn. There she could use another towel to completely comb through the fur.

It was then she would finally settle down into her bed as the sun sank down into the horizon. Trinity felt so cozy and warm, nestled into her featherdown blankets and pillows, hoping to soak up the hot springs once again tomorrow.
