It came to her in a dream after she had been reading books about a region she had never visited. Ealei was a beautiful place she had heard about and read about and even seen some images. She knew the place was famous for manaberries and hoped to visit it one day.  Who wouldn’t want to swim around in the mangroves and gather some delicious manaberries ! You could even fish in its crystal clear waters. Her dream had brought her to experience all those things. But the most fascinating was of the flower she dreamt about.

 An explorer had come to the library seeking information on it. Sunniva had done plenty of research trying to help the explorer on their quest. But somehow at night she found herself dreaming of this beautiful flower she had never seen. Her dream however was so vivid it was almost like she was touching it with her own hands. It was as blue as a manaberry with the shape of a lotus flower. It was adorned with many petals that would open and close. Its petals had an almost crystalline texture as if it was made of crystal itself. It seemed as if it had a glow to it but it was more because the water and the sun would reflect on it. It was growing in the water with its giant circular leaves floating. It was unlike anything she had seen before and in her dream she managed to gather one and study it. She was impressed by its petals as they seemed sturdy and yet so frail at the same time. It had a beautiful yellow center and its tendrils looked like glass stems with glass balls at the end. She was absolutely mesmerized by it and wondered what kind of properties it had. Her dreaming went on till the morning and she had cataloged so much information on this species of flora. It was too bad it was only a dream.
