Sugar Blossom is a beautiful flower that comes in various colors like pink, white, yellow and orange, but its most common color is a soft pink hue with a hint of lavender. It’s a sweet and delicate flower. The scent of the Sugar Blossom is delightfully sugary, with a touch of vanilla and almond.
The Sugar Blossom flower is unique in that it contains a high amount of natural sugars. This makes it a popular ingredient in the candy-making industry. With its soft pink petals and fragrant aroma, this flower is as beautiful as it is tasty and has been used by Elnins for centuries in making various sweet treats. Known to be home in the warmer parts of Faerindell, this delicate treat thrives in mild and humid climates and can often be found near the faerie shrouds. The leaves of the flower are small and sprinkled with a mix of bright green and white. They have a slightly minty aroma, which complements the sweet scent of the petals. Mature plants sometimes develop little crystal clusters that can be found on the leaves or petals. They are usually very small and are purely cosmetic, as they are too fragile to touch and would simply break apart into dust and be carried away by a breeze.

The flowers are carefully harvested and the nectar extracted to make a thick syrup, while the petals of the Sugar Blossom are carefully collected and dried before being used in candy-making.
The petals, once dried, are ground into a fine powder and can be mixed with sugar and other ingredients to create lots of different candies - all known for their beautiful colors, which are derived from the natural pigments in the petals.
The harvested syrup on the other hand is cooked with other ingredients like honey and spices to create a unique flavor that is both sweet and slightly floral. It is often used in desserts such as cakes, cookies, and ice cream, as well as in cocktails and other beverages.

But not only are the flowers itself used for candy making - even the slender roots, pale yellow in color, find their way into the kitchens. They have a sweet, nutty flavor that is similar to almonds, which is the reason for the slight almond smell that surrounds the whole plant. 

Apart from being used in candy-making, Sugar Blossom has other uses too. The pure, untreated nectar can be used to sweeten tea, and the flowers can be used to make fragrant oils and perfumes, which are often sold all over Eyre and shipped all the way to Ealei.
