As Shimmer walks from the stores to her vacation home, she is surrounded by the unique environment of Ealei. The air is fresh and cool, and the sound of water can be heard in the distance. The ground is covered in a thin layer of moss, making each step soft and cushioned. She passes by trees of all shapes and sizes, some with roots stretching down into the water, while others have trunks growing straight up from the surface of the water.

The light filtering through the trees is dappled and soft, casting shadows on the ground and highlighting the colors of the flowers and leaves around her. She sees the beautiful lavender Star blooms she admired earlier, their delicate petals shining in the sunlight, as well as the bright yellow blooms of the Sunburst flower, their tall stalks swaying in the gentle breeze.

As she climbs up into the trees, the environment changes. She is now surrounded by the towering eldertree, Yggdrasil, with its massive branches stretching out in every direction. The air is cooler up here, and the leaves rustle softly in the wind. She can see for miles in every direction, the flat-topped mountains in the distance providing a beautiful backdrop to the lush greenery around her.

As she walked up to her vacation home, carrying a bag full of knick knacks she had bought at the local stores, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. One specific item she bought was a small intricate, handheld mirror, and she had been looking forward to using it to help her style her hair for tomorrow’s play in the city.

But as she reached the door of her vacation home, disaster struck. In her excitement, she dropped the mirror, and it shattered into a thousand pieces on the ground.

Shimmer cursed under her breath, feeling a sudden sense of dread. She knew that breaking a mirror was bad luck, and she couldn't help but feel that her vacation was now doomed. 

As Shimmer continued to clean up the mess, she couldn't help but think about how her bad luck had led to the destruction of her new mirror. If only her Pomu, had been with her at the time and not hibernating in crystal form. The Pomu were excellent at carrying things and could have easily held onto her new mirror.

While in hibernation, her Pomu is held within an intricate lantern that Shimmer made herself. The lantern is crafted from a combination of hand-carved wood and delicate pieces of coral, creating a beautiful and intricate piece that looks like it was plucked straight from the heart of a coral reef. The wood of the lantern is a deep, rich brown, and has been carefully shaped and polished to create a smooth, glossy finish. The coral pieces are shades of blues and greens, and have been woven together in a way that creates a delicate lattice pattern, allowing the Pomu's crystal body to peak through.

"Sorry little one," she said to her Pomu. "I know you would have helped me carry my mirror if you could have."

As she continued to clean up the mess, Shimmer couldn't help but feel a bit frustrated with herself. She knew that accidents happened and that breaking the mirror wasn't entirely her fault, but she still couldn't shake the feeling that she had somehow caused this bad luck to befall her.

Despite her misgivings, Shimmer pushed open the door to her vacation home and stepped inside. The space was cozy and comfortable, with soft cushions and a warm, inviting atmosphere. But as she moved around the room, she couldn't help but notice that her large form was causing chaos and destruction wherever she went.

As she moved through the small house, she found herself constantly knocking things over and inadvertently breaking objects with her long, powerful tail. It seemed as though the bad luck that had descended upon her was not content with causing her to break just one item.

The first thing she knocked over was a vase filled with a beautiful arrangement of Manaberries. As the vase shattered on the ground, the juice from the berries splattered all over the walls and the floor, leaving a sticky, sweet mess in its wake. Shimmer groaned as she surveyed the damage, feeling more and more frustrated with each passing moment.

Next, she moved into the living room, her tail swishing back and forth behind her as she walked. As she turned around to sit on the couch, her tail clipped the edge of a nearby table, sending a vase of delicate bark blooms tumbling to the ground. The sound of the vase shattering into a thousand pieces was like a gunshot in the quiet room. Shimmer looked down at the broken pieces with a sense of despair, realizing that she would have to be much more careful if she wanted to avoid causing any more damage.

As the days went on, Shimmer's sense of unease only grew. She felt as though she was surrounded by a cloud of bad luck, with even the smallest actions seeming to have disastrous consequences. She spilled hot tea on her favorite dress, lost her wallet on a nature hike, and even managed to get a bird's nest tangled in her horns.

Despite the setbacks, Shimmer refused to give up on her vacation. She spent long hours exploring the beautiful forests of Ealei, marveling at the towering trees and the shimmering coral reefs beneath the water's surface. She even managed to find a few hidden spots where she could sit and bask in the warmth of the sun, feeling the gentle sway of the branches beneath her.

Despite the bad luck that seemed to follow her wherever she went, Shimmer couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder at the beauty of the world around her. And as her vacation came to a close, she knew that she would carry the memory of her time in Ealei with her always, even if it hadn't gone exactly as she had planned.
