Ailea finally met her pomu, and she proudly takes an evening stroll to show off her friend and lantern around town. As dusk sets in, her first year having the soft light from the pomu crystal feels almost ceremonial or holy, and she wants to reach the highest point of the world tree and fantasize about her lantern light guiding some wayward soul home and rescuing said stranger. You know, the typical teen fantasy of fated meetings and romance.

A little more context for the scene, Kai is a tough (but dumb) kittom who wants to join the Thieves Guild some day, and to prove his skill he wants to steal something no one ever has before; a pomu.

I wasn't planning to fully write this scene yet but it's been in my plans since I acquired Kai and i thought it would be a fun dynamic piece for the seasonal. I've always wanted to try more dynamic scenes ;w; I didn't realize making a note of the context would affect what is considered the focus of the scene, this is Kai and Ailea's first meeting but they will later be very good friends - it will be a subject of great shame for Kai because Ailea will tease him about how the crystal kept popping back to her when he tried to leave with it.

=w= I plan to do one from Kai's POV eventually, this is the scene as Ailea remembers it (very romantic mood lighting, a dusky stranger catching her by surprise). When it is Kai's turn it'll be a blood moon, spooky shadows on the wall/ a more dangerous feeling and Ailea will be much smaller than him.

(Gonna add in I'm aware Theives Guild isn't open to join, but for lore/writing purposes I have characters who want to join certain things and I hope eventually they will become available but if it ends up that they never do, I have left wiggle room for those to be just childhood dreams of adventure, and they will still be happy with what they end up doing)
