Ailea woke in her Ealei nook with a sense of excitement and adventure. She had heard that Ealei was one of the most bustling and vibrant regions on Eyre, and she was eager to explore everything it had to offer. Of course, it wouldn’t be able to compare to the close comforts of Enmir's marshes, but what how could it? Still, she promised to keep an open mind as she meandered down the paths and bridges and onto the docks of Port Pthalo. Almost immediately she was greeted by the friendly Ieldi, who welcomed her with open arms, and encouraged her to take in all the sights and sounds that Ealei had to offer.

Ailea was slightly taken aback the friendliness of the Ieldi, but the warm greeting was nonetheless a great start to the visit. She set out on a leisurely stroll along the wharf, where she marveled at the massive mangroves that stretched out from the water's edge. The trees were so tall that their branches reached up to the sky, while their roots were interwoven with the docks and boats that bobbed up and down in the gentle waves.

She was then drawn to the clear, turquoise waters of the ocean, which were teeming with wildlife. Ailea admired the variety of fish that she never saw before, and observed the mangroves which provided a vibrant green hue in contrast to the clear seawater. Looking to the Ieldi, they gestured for her to enjoy herself. Ailea nodded back as she waded in the water, large ocean rocks and the winding tree roots surrounding her. The sunlight filtered through the water, casting an ethereal glow that danced along the shallow sea floor.

After her quick dip in the water, her guides led her around the port city, where she was able to see the incredible engineering feats that the Ieldi had accomplished in order to build their homes and cities in the trees. Her eyes scanned the unique landscape of Ealei - the absence of traditional land and the abundance of water and trees made it feel like a completely different world. As she walked through the city's winding paths, she was struck by the unique architecture that seamlessly blended into the natural surroundings. The guides showed her the incredible sight of trees growing directly from the Yggdrasil’s branches.

As the day drew to a close, Ailea's guides took her to one of the most popular food spots in the city, where she was able to sample some of the delicious seafood that Ealei was famous for. She enjoyed a meal of fresh fish and shellfish, prepared in a style that was new and exciting.

After a delicious and fulfilling meal, she thanked them for their goodwill and warm gestures, appreciating their efforts to keep her entertained and happy. She finally understood why this was the most populated region in all of Eyre, after all, who could resist staying just a while longer with all the kindness she was shown!
