The Elnins of Ealei have built their homes and structures on the branches and roots of Yggdrasil, creating a unique and beautiful landscape of suspended buildings and walkways. These homes are made from both natural and materials, such as woven branches and leaves, wooden planks, and shimmering strands of silk and blend seamlessly into the surrounding forest. As such, the treehouses in Ealei are unique and breathtaking structures, unlike anything found in any other region, a true reflection of the creative spirit of the kittoms who call Ealei home.

The treehouses vary in size and design, reflecting the individuality of their owners. Some are small and cozy, perfect for one or two kittoms, while others are large and spacious, accommodating entire families. No matter the size, each treehouse is unique and special, a true expression of the personality and style of its owner.

In Ealei, the treehouses are a source of pride and community. Kittoms gather in the branches to celebrate important events, to share stories and laughter, and to simply enjoy each other's company. The treehouses provide a sense of safety and security, and they serve as a reminder of the strong bonds of friendship and family that exist among the kittoms.

Opal is very much known for her creative flair, but even she sometimes struggles with making changes to her appearance. As she gazes out the window of her wild and chaotic looking tree house, she feels a sense of uncertainty wash over her.

She has always admired the bold, golden markings of other kittoms, and has longed to make a similar change to her own appearance. However, she is aware that the process of painting her markings gold is not an easy one. It requires precision and patience, and she is afraid that she may mess it up around her harder to reach spots of fur.

Despite her fears, Opal is determined to go through with her plan. She knows that making a change, no matter how small, can often bring new opportunities and experiences. She takes a deep breath and begins to prepare her materials. She selects the finest brushes and the most vibrant gold paint she can find, and sets to work on her task. Opal steps out of her treehouse and into the branches of Yggdrasil,  as she looks around, taking in the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding landscape she takes a deep breath, readying herself for the task ahead. She has made a decision and is determined to finally change her style by painting her markings gold. However, before she can begin, she must first find the perfect spot to do so.

She begins to climb higher into the branches, searching for a spot with just the right amount of sun. As she climbs, she takes in the beauty of her home, the region of Ealei. The branches are alive with the sounds of other kittoms chattering and the gentle rustling of leaves in the wind. The air is filled with the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers and the scent of the ocean that surrounds the region.

Finally, Opal finds the perfect spot. A large branch extends out into the sun, providing just the right amount of light for her to paint her markings. She sets down her supplies and begins to prepare, carefully mixing the paint to the exact shade of gold she desires.

With her supplies ready, she takes a deep breath and begins to paint. The process is slow and meticulous, but she is determined to get it right. The sun beats down on her as she works, but she doesn't mind. In fact, she finds comfort in its warm embrace.

As she paints, she begins to feel a sense of pride and excitement. She knows that this change to her appearance is a big step, but she is ready for it. The gold paint brings out the natural beauty of her markings and makes her feel like a completely new kittom.

As Opal is painting her markings, she begins to struggle to reach some of the more difficult spots. Just as she is about to give up, another kittom named Ailea swings by on a nearby branch. Ailea notices Opal's frustration and offers to help her paint.

Opal gratefully accepts Ailea's offer and the two kittoms begin to work together. They chat and laugh as they paint, enjoying each other's company. Ailea carefully paints Opal’s markings, making sure she doesn’t paint outside of the markings. It takes them hours to get the markings painted perfectly, often having to wash parts off and repaint. But even as time passes, they chatter, make jokes, smile and laugh, creating a new bod of friendship between each other. The sun beats down on them, warming their fur, and a light breeze rustles the leaves of the tree.

Together, they make quick work of the difficult spots and soon they are finished. Ailea steps back to admire her handiwork and hops around all giddy at how amazing Opal looks with her changed markings. Both kittoms are both incredibly pleased with the results. The gold paint glistens in the sun, bringing out the intricate patterns of Opal's markings.

Opal and Ailea share a warm embrace, grateful for each other's company and support. They promise to paint each other's markings in the future and continue to climb higher into the branches of Yggdrasil, eager to explore and have more adventures together.
