Snownins would refer as Elnin version of a Snow angel xD! at least in Sunniva eyes

Strynhalde might be the coldest region of Eyre but it has its hidden charm when you set aside its cold frigid winds. There was something quite magical when the snow draped all the outdoors, even all the trees. It looks like a winter wonderland, making the branches on the trees hang down with the heavy snow that covers them. When the sun peeks out and hits the snow, it looks like fields of shining diamonds on freshly powdery fallen snow. This was Sunniva's favorite part, it made her feel like the luckiest kittom alive to see shining diamonds covering the ground. She couldn’t wait to go outside in the fresh snow to do one of her favorite activities, snownins. But something felt a bit different ever since the Miasma season she felt a bit more lonely than she used to. 

 

She held on tightly to the rope that she had crafted for her pomu lantern. She hadn’t had the chance to spend much time with her pomu that had transformed into a crystal before she knew it. One day when she was enjoying the outdoors, the little capricious shadow had made its appearance for the first time throwing a snowball at her. Ever since then they had been inseparable. She would enjoy all the outdoor activities that Strynhalde had to offer with her new friend that followed wherever she went. She had even given it a name that it seemed happy to have clapped its hands when it first heard it. Sunni had called it Snowdrop and only seemed fitting when it had appeared here in the snow for the first time. 

 

But now all Sunniva was left with what was a crystal that lit her way wherever she went. But everything seemed more lonely now that Snowdrop wasn’t enjoying the activities with her. She had awoken one morning and all that was there was a floating crystal. She had fashioned it a beautiful lantern as her pomu meant a lot to her. She had found it it beautiful pink glass bell from one of the local vendors and attached some beautiful different colour beads that she had gotten from another vendor. She had found a cute little crystal flower bead that she had attached to the top of the bell. Assembling it all together the little pink flower shone on top with a purple rope that wrapped around the pomu crystal to keep it in the pink bell. Sunni then attached to it the coloured beads she had gotten, first with one blue, then one purple, then one pink, then one yellow and finally with an orange one. She had also found in her stash some beautiful colorful silk ribbons that she made bows with. Somehow having crafted the lantern made her feel closer and less lonely from missing her pomu. 

 

She decided to brave the outdoors to do what they used to enjoy best. First jumping into the snow she wondered if the lantern would follow her and to her surprise it did. Wherever she went her pomu lantern followed even if she didn’t pull the rope along with her. It would reappear right to where she was. Sunni was absolutely thrilled about it as she began to throw herself in the snow and even bury herself in it. Faintly through the snow she could see a soft glow lighting her way. She always knew that Snowdrop was with her. It warmed her heart and she would talk to it just like she used to with her pomu. Maybe it wouldn’t jump in the snow but at least it was there with her. 

 

Having a ball as usual in the outdoors the sun was starting to set and Sunniva wanted to finish the day like she always did doing some snownins in the snow with her pomu. Only this time only her imprint would be in the snow… the thought of it made Sunni sad as she looked up at the sky after making her imprint swooshing her paws up in the snow. A few tears escaped from her eyes as she felt lonely. This just wasn’t the same as it used to be. But then something brightened Sunniva's mood. Maybe Snowdrop was just a crystal at the moment but she was still there with her when she saw the beautiful soft glow of the lantern. It warmed her heart and made her feel better as the glow lit up her face. She only had to endure a few more months and Snowdrop would be out causing chaos with her again. 

 

As the night fell Sunniva was back indoors and sat by the fire to warm up and pulled out a book to read to her pomu. She read an adventuring story to the crystal hoping that somehow it understood her. She was enjoying the light her pomu emitted so she didn't need any other light as she hid under the blanket and kept reading her story as the light from the lantern was just a good enough glow so she could see the book. She stood like that for hours still she finally fell asleep but Snowdrop was still lighting her while slept soundly hovering above her. Her small head resting on the open book was probably not the most comfortable thing to be sleeping on. But Sunniva was warm and cozy and exhausted from having played outside all day. She was now peaceful and no longer sad because her pomu was always lighting her.
