Sunniva had been running through the snow all morning. She was having the time of her life. She was glad her adventures had brought her to Strynhalde. There always were endless hours of fun in the snow ! The little kittom never seemed to even run out of energy as she would run, climb, throw snowballs at other kittoms and build snowmans. The one thing she found herself missing wasn’t a more mild climate instead of a cold frigide one. It was the endless florals of Faerindell, compared to Strynhalde there didn’t seem to be any here. There were a lot of trees covered in snow but flowers were somewhat pretty rare. 

She had heard from various locals that there were flowers they were just rare and that they were small blessings to find one. After being here for quite a while during the Miasma season Sunni was beginning to think that those were only tales of the locals. Perhaps she wasn’t lucky either and she put the idea of seeing a bloom through the snow in the back of her mind. 

One day she was out building a colossal snowman when she was rolling around some snow into a great big ball, when she saw a little green sprout in the snow. It was as clear as day a beautiful snowdrop flower was trying to peek through the fluffy snow. It had a green stem and a hanging white flower with four petals. To her it looked magical, almost like a little bell and she had never seen a flower like that, not even where she was from. Everyday she would come back to that spot and watch the little bloom thrive as she would clear some of the snow around and on it. She had left a marker behind to find it everyday. As silly as Sunni was she would come and watch it everyday and talk to it and slowly the little bloom became more blooms. There were also green leaf stems that began to spread from it. Back home Sunniva had a way with flowers and it seemed she did here as well. She thought to herself she was the luckiest to have found this snowdrop flower. Maybe she had a green thumb after all.
