On their visit to Ealei, they find themselves jumping at the many, all-too-visible roots of the mangroves with every step they take. In their peripheral vision, they swear the snaky shapes are moving...

One particularly jaunty root catches their leg and makes them scream shrilly, to the bafflement of any actual Feyhallow tricksters nearby. No one is even trying to scare them! But well, Midus sure is adding to the fright-filled atmosphere, if nothing else.
