If you asked Fahren which region she adored the most, she would talk endlessly about her adventures in Bellmoril. Fahren was born in the ashen mountains of Zevija, and had not the slightest idea what a forest looked like before leaving. Afterall, the only notable plant in the area was the eldertree, whose flaming leaves looked more like a massive furnace than something living. 

But how spectacular were Bellmoril’s woodlands. The elder tree was bright yellow with a pure white trunk. Its branches were plush and full of leaves, resembling an overgrown maple tree. Soft red and orange hues decorated the landscape just like her own pelt.  The leaves shimmered in the sunlight like gold, covering the undergrowth in a soft glow that warmed even the coldest of hearts. She spent most of her free time exploring these golden forests, helping out the locals with requests and investigating old folktales. Her dream was to one day become a knight, so she always took pride in helping others.

If she woke up early in the mornings (which was not often), she would trek along the coastal mountains to watch the sunrise. As the sun rose, it would light up each mountain peak one by one and cast spectacular shadows onto the forest below. If she was lucky, there would be no wind or fog, and a perfect reflection of the scenery would be mirrored onto the valley lakes. 

While Fahren mostly resided in the rural areas of Bellmoril, she would visit Il’durahn to learn the history of mana from old masters and great wizards through apprenticeships. Oftentimes the townsfolk were quite reserved, especially in the smaller settlements, but Fahren was always able to win them over with her bright personality. In fact, she made many of her most precious friends in this region—but that would be a whole new story for another time.
