It was time... all the hard prep planning and making her travel kit. It was time to travel somewhere special! She had heard from an innkeeper near her house about an old ruin that he'd visited in his youth, and a legend of a legendary dragon that visited the area at an old decrepit shrine at the top of the mountain. After a lot of planning she'd finally gotten her chance! As her Dad had to make a surprise trip to Faerindell to give some medicine to one of his clients! FINALLY, now he wouldn't be able to spy on her! She'd decided upon a quick excursion to this ruin, maybe eating lunch at the top and seeing if she could find this shrine where the legendary dragon was said to exist.

Hiroka shuffled the weight of her travelers kit and consulted the sign. "Urgh! 50 km to go?!" she exclaimed, looking up at the steep climb to the top of the mountain where the ruin was located. 

- several hours later - 

The climb was tough going, the steps seemed to be made for nin's much bigger than Hiroka. She huffed and puffed. Pressing her small paws into each steep step and lifted herself up over them. Soon the sun began to set over the horizon.

Finally she made it to the top. Albeit, it was later than she had hoped, but she could always have a midnight picnic instead of a lunch! Feeling fulfilled with herself, she planted her travellers kit at a lovely spot overlooking the city of Ilrian, before exploring her surroundings. She soon found a set of flat large stones leading up to a peculiar red gate? As she climbed to the top, a weird blue glow illuminated the gate. Excited, she came face to face with a peculiar dragon looking thing! It glowed a luminous blue and looked down on her with is large horns.

"WOAH! YOU MUST BE THE DRAGON OF THE SHRINE!!!" she exclaimed excitedly dancing and prancing on the spot at her discovery. She watched as the Dragon looked down curiously at her. Before twisting around and encircling the small kittom. Blinking a pair of beady white eyes at the small being. 

"Woah! You're GLOWING!!! I wish  I could glow! That would've made it so much easier to see in the dark. It's like a super power! Hey, would you like to have a midnight picnic with me?  I've still got a bunch of food in my kit! We could share and watch the meteorshower?" she asked excitedly. She watched as the dragons eyes lit up at the thought and watched as it chirped and nodded excitedly.

As the night grew late, they watched the stars twinkle overhead. Even catching a few shooting stars and making wishes upon them together.

- several hours later - 

Hiroka awoke with a stretch and a yawn. She turned to face her new found friend, but they were nowhere in sight!  She even climbed up the to the shrine again to see if she could find them, but there was no trace of them.
