Silveil is one of the many wonders of The World of Eyre. Like all other regions, it has specific qualities that Elnins are drawn to, or in some cases, may need to look out for as they can be unpleasant.

Silveil’s main city, although beautiful and wonderful, is a place that Opal would rather keep away from. This city is run by the Thieves Guild. There is much depravity and corruption, gambling to be had, and depending on where you go and what you do, maybe some regret that you’ll wake up to in the morning.

Rather than spend her time in the city, Opal is more drawn to the beautiful wild life of Silveil, as well as the wondrous lake that harbours the Region’s Eldertree. Every Region’s tree is large in magnitude, but Silveil’s is unique as it sits upside down below the surface of the lake.

As the lake is luminous and glows, so too does the Eldertree, with a canopy covering of sparkling stars. If you swim down in the lake, you can see what one would describe as a whole new world. Glowing creatures of the night are what attribute to the brilliance of the lake. Jellyfish, seaweed, sea stars, and many other aquatic creatures have adapted to the ever lasting night, becoming bioluminescent.
Throughout the ‘night’, whatever is considered night at Silveil, you can find many Elnin strolling along the lakeside, trying to catch these extraordinary aquatic creatures.

While many folks prefer the lake, others would rather set up camp in the forest, another wonder to be seen. Similar to the gleaming lake, the forest has its own richness in light. Almost all flora, as far as the eye can see, will shed some sort of luminescence, again, varying in colour. Whether it be the moss on trees glowing a faint purple, the leafy plants a green, or the many mushrooms and their multitude of colours, you will always have a faint glow to light your way. Many times you’ll catch an Elnin snoozing under a giant glowing mushroom, enjoying the sounds of the night.
